There are many ways to get involved in generating your own power. The first port of call is to look at a map and see whether you've got any local energy communities active in your area. Talking to the local municipality is also really important because often they have opportunities for citizens to get involved, she says. And then if there isn't something in your local community, it's really not that difficult to set up an energy community with a group of motivated neighbours or linking with the municipality.
