Dog Behavior Training

The strength of extinction is that it's super simple. You just stop paying attention. Extinction means ignoring a behavior you don't want to see. The second time extinction is not going to work is when the emotion behind the behavior is so great that the dog doesn't find your choices punishing. So even among dogs, I know people often refer to well dogs use punishment or dogs do this or dogs do that. An awful lot of dog behavior is pathological.
