The Goldengate Bridge, Totally Silent
In the spring of 20 20, i was gearing up for a field season, and all of a sudden, you know, everything was getting cancel. So i went up there with my recording equipment, and there's just no one around. I opened the door, it smells familiar. It smells like ocean, smells like the bacchyrus and the sage scrub. But i just completely silent. And so i began my recordings. The white crowns were everywhere. Male, one over here, male two over there, four, five, six in the distance. They actually seemed a little bit shyer too.
