The Power of the Local Church

Freedom of religion is a great thingy who wants to live in china? I'm free to choose where i go to worship on a sunday. The down side is aas freedom of religion tilts the church towards being a consumer commodity. We do have a practical problem of how one reinstates the true formative power of the local church when there are so many local churches to choose from. It's hard to feel this world is strange if you've calebrated your relation with it by palls of what it wants.
