Dr Gloria Moss is a former academic who went down the rabbit hole. The author of eight books including Why Men Like Straight Lines and Women Like Polka Dots, she has explored topics as diverse as Chretien de Troyes and the Holy Grail (her undergraduate degree was in French and Medieval Studies), the Dead Sea Scrolls site at Qumran, the real purpose of the Great Fire of London and the Gunpowder Plot.
