The Bread, the Being, Is an Invitation to Become One With Jesus

In the midst of this prayer, we read in verse 11, give us this day, our daily bread. The word that's used for daily is epiucion, which is a couple Greek words, epi, which means upon an usion,. And so literally it's this being upon bread. But I think what Jesus is doing is he's harking us back to the narrative in Exodus three where Moses asks Jesus what his name was. He says "Jehovah," or Jehovah; translated as I am what I am, or I am that I am. This is the connection with being. So he's bringing us to a state of completion"
