Coppola asked the same production designer for things like, can I get a thousand blackbirds? And this guy was like, I guess I could take some pigeons and I could die them back. It's like that scene from Scrooge where he's like, can we glue the antlers onto the mouse? Exactly. Like this guy starts to lose his mind. They had a full time snake man who just would show up every day like a sack full of snakes in case they needed them.
