C++ and C++ Code - Is C++ Memory Safe?
The goal is for it to be reasonable to write memory-safe code in carbon. That's kind of fundamentally bounded though, because carbon also wants to have really good interoperability with C++ and we can't make existing C ++ code memory-safe. So there are limits there and part of the strategy is to allow the features that we provide for safety to be adopted incrementally.
