Carbon Storage - Is the UK Going to Be a Real Player in the Energy Transition?
The IPCC have projected that we'll need to store between about 300 and 1,000 gigatons of carbon by the end of the century. Carbon storage storing seven or eight gigatons a year would be 20% of the total emissions produced today. The UK could develop with huge potential to export the technology as well as storing lots of our own carbon emissions.
