The Obstacles to Building, Construction, Housing in the Bay Area
In California, we passed an accessory dwelling unit law, which makes it really easy to build backyard units and Granny Flats. There's the process that allows people to oppose or block tie things up for months with small, inexpensive processes. We still have this law called the California Environmental Quality, like, Sequa. And so there definitely needs to be some fine-tuning around that.
