The three large bank failures that have just occurred in the US are very similar to what happened with Silicon Valley Bank. In this case, I think myself and a lot of my colleagues who are surprised that this is a type of bank failure that is almost textbook, so to speak. This re-corresponds to very old models of bank runs that we have. It's really banking one-on-one thing. So yeah, you would think that people should have seen this coming"
