The Effects of Whiteness on Campus Environments

The crux of the book is how does whiteness structure campus environments so that we might have some sort of precision in the language we use? So one thing we tried to make clear with the book is a danger of whiteness work can be that it sort of colonizes these spaces that largely scholars of color have been taking up for a long time. What we want to do is put this into conversation with that type of work and say one sort of tool or concept folks might think with is white normativity. It's one of the guiding questions of critical whiteness praxis.
