The Chorus Brings It Home
The song ends on a big one chord and then out of nowhere what chord should turn up? But a D flat, that one chord that was introduced during that one little part before getting into the final chorus. The bass player is playing all quarter notes, which if you remember from previous episodes This is called a walking bass line and the choir brings us home to the grand finale Or is it? What? So as it turns out that was not actually the end of the song, it just sounded like it, it was a fake out And there's this whole dramatic coda sort of epilogue to the song that plays That does a couple really really cool things harmonically.
