Texas Governor's Race - Did You Know the Whole Way?
I think you had a sense you might pull it off. Did you believe you were going to pull this off? Yes. There is no other way to get through. And, you know, we knew the odds were against us from the beginning. We raised $80 million in this governor's race, which was a world record except for the 140 or $150 million that Greg Abbott raised and spent almost two to one. Young people who have the most to gain or to lose based on the outcome in this election didn't show up. It's hard to buy into good things happening when good things haven't happened.
