Sousa is situated in a beautiful location right at the foot of what would that be? Is it the Zagras Mountains? We're going to say this is Zagras Mountain, kind of hooking down along the west side of modern day Iran. It's just a great spot for a city and it proved to be very defensible as well. SUSA was not just a pop-up capital made by the Persians. By the time the Persians walked into that they were entering into a city that was already easily 4,000 years old.
