Is There a Mindfulness Approach to Heartbreak?

Sio: If we change the way we think about our loved ones, it may change how we feel. Sio did a study specifically about heartbreak and found that thinking negatively made people less in love with their ex partners. She also found that distracting yourself does not change how in love you are, but it does make you feel better. The mindfulness approach had no effect on how in love people were or how good or bad they felt.
