The Government's Interest in USB C
If the EU had stepped in five years ago and said, okay, we're going to standardize. What would be happening right now is that the entire European Union would be using USB. The government locked them into what ended up being a substandard solution. And I imagine they would. We're going to end up stuck with USB C and there will be very little motivation to innovate beyond it.
