The End of Reacher's Life
Reacher and Roscoe talk everything through in chapter 34. For what one can only assume is the first time of his life, Reacher makes love with great tenderness. Naturally, Reacher then takes a bus to California with a photo of his brother that Roscoe gave him. And some people lived happily after after. A lot of people died. Those who survived, I think, lived fairly happily after everyone else died.
