Women's revolution may have an impact, but I would approach the problems differently. The fact that women in general started working much more was in part the result of having fewer children. For these and other reasons, women went much more into the labor force. Their earnings have risen steadily for 20 years or so,. Men, not equal as yet in the United States, but much closer than they used to be.
