I've Had a LOT of Aha Moments After Increasing My Protein

i've had some major aha moments after increasing my protein to one gram per pound of body weight during the reset. I was vegetarian for seven years, long ago, in always had a tendency to tendency to binge on carbs. Could it be that i just wasn't getting enough protein to ever really fill full, and hence the binging? If so, i'll consider my life changed.
