The Perverse Love of Dante
Dante has his second dream which is a kind of more subtle version of what he confronted in his first dream. It's not that he tries to grab as it were someone and abduct them as Jupiter had Ganymede rather he looks on a siren in his dream this kind of distorted version of femininity. This is the sense that lust can reach a stage where it can look at almost anything and want it get sexual satisfaction from it desire to possess it. Dante confronts these different qualities in souls he meets but also within himself and is able to see through them see how they are distortions. Finally comes to the seventh terrace now this is in a way the culmination of all this awakening
