Primary Hyperparathiism - What Is the Difference?

Primary hyper parthyrism is a condition where one or more of the four perathyrid glands may enlarge and produce excess parathyric hormone. It can occur at any age, but the great majority of cases occurs in patients over the age of 50. 80 to 90 percent o patients may present with a tary perithyrid adanoma,. Approximately 15 % will present with hyper plasia or a double atanoma.
