Is Your Study Humanistic or Social Scientific?
In grad school, Am was taught that your research is probably scientific or social scientific. And if it's no, that is your studying something unique, specific particular, then your studies are probably humanistic. But in fact the three groups of knowledge are actually split right down the middle into two large scale fields: science and humanities. So we have a tri parti division, which is actually a bi partie division. My argument in the book is that that specific structure, that is both the division ofknowledge into three field s and the division of knowledge in some sense has been wrong headed.
