Is Workflow the Right Tool for the Job?

Workflow had its guardrails. It knew how to do certain things really well and it gave you guardrails on how to do that. But when they said that everything now is a flow, they've increased the complexity of their system. Meaning that every triggering action, even if it just needs to send a simple email, now has to has to run this flow. And I feel like workflow is still the right tool for the job for a lot of this stuff,. but we're people are being ushered to flow for all of the things.
