The Power Laws of Angel Investing
Power laws play a huge role in the distribution curve of returns. Some companies my portfolio benefited from covid lock downs, while others got crushed. This is perhaps the most exciting, distinguishing ture of start up investing compared to the later stage markets. There's far more in keeping with the 80 20 rule, whereas 80 % of an outcome is determined by 20 % of the input.
