Jack Tishira: The Espionage Act was not written to prosecute leakers. He says the government doesn't want to give up that possibility because when you can hold the Espionage Act over people, "you're going to scare the living shit out of anybody" That's what they've charged Snowden with and where they have charge to Sange with; it also means that to share his reasons, whether it was noble or lame, it's irrelevant.
