The Clean Electricity Regulations
The federal government's clean electricity regulations will be introduced in 2035. They are meant to ensure something close to net zero emissions electricity grids in each province starting that year. In fact, if you kind of looked at an overhead map of the country, you'd almost see alternating things because some provinces rely on hydroelectricity while others have been much more reliant on fossil fuels.
