The Power of a Flashback

I had a reveal at the end of Garden State that was really shocking and I had it in for a long time. Bill Lawrence who created scrubs came in this very house to cut an ad with Judd Apatow when he worked on "Garden State" He said like here's the thing that's the most powerful scene in the movie and it will never be in the movie because it totally cock blocked the movie. It left the audience with a oh my god pit in their stomach as opposed to like yay new love.
