I Don't Understand the Conservative Framing
Both parents, and we ar both of their family members, they're all alcoholics. Ar you going to make that go away with good parenting? No. Alcoholism is about genetics. All right, i guess tha e, oh, you're framing this as a conservative problemoh, ok, let me adjust that. I'm not saying that only conservatives have this blind spot. But the conservatives focusing on this blinds us to the possibility that there might be some way solve it that we haven't thought about. In other words, it makes us focus on something that looks like a solution, when in fact, is not.
