The Limits of Empathy
There is this whole debate about to which animals we extend empathy and to which we do not. So, I would say a pig's eyes are cute. Oh, I think the pigs are adorable. But they're not excluded from the realm of moral consideration. You know, so some people eat bunnies, some people don't. Why do we love and pet dogs but slaughter pigs? They also have big cute eyes so it doesn't actually seem to track that it's another case. This is having kind of like weird, beady eyes that are a little creepy. And we eat some we hate some we love,. Which is just about this arbitrary line that we draw in the sand
