Is There a General Theory of How Human Intelligence Works?

Ai and a norlink are searching for a scientific or philosophical breakthrough, not really engineering breakthroughs. We don't have a general theory of how the brain actually works. And it's just very, very hard to accelerate those things. So i'm not sure i would bet my career, at least my technology and business career, counting on a scientific or Philosophical break through,. That makes the most sense, i calulate myself to the audienceye.
