Manchester City and the Premier League Charges
The charges against Manchester City are not new with one exception. The lack of cooperation from the club was a very telling aspect to the charges. I don't think there'll be too many football fans who would look for their fainting couch when somebody says maybe Manchester City have not been playing by the rules, right? However, the Premier League is a very brand conscious organization. And what they're doing here is essentially charging their most successful club over the last 10 years. They're basically charging them with behaving in a way that's in contravention of the rules,. and that if proven, would significantly damage the sporting integrity of the Premier League.
