There's a classic paper of Sinclair and Guarente 1997. When you say it's a true paper, what do you mean by that? I mean, it's been reproduced by other people. It helped us do something in 2007. Here's where it's not helpful expecting that that activity in an extremely rare yeast cell had some fundamental thing to do with aging. That was simply storytelling. And no doubt when my student Peter Belenke showed that NR extended yeast lifespan, it's helping those yeast mother cells control the number of ribosomal DNA circles.
