The Importance of Reason in Metaphysics

Kant: We regard the beautiful as the exhibition of an indeterminate concept of the understanding. He says reason is always stretching itself out to say things about the unconditioned. Practical philosophy, we can talk about ethics anyway, says Khan, despite the limitations of reason. They're doing work, but they're not subsuming particulars under concepts in a sense.
