They Live Not in Cities of Their Own, but Only as Strangers

Gentiles is an interesting word to use here. Is applied to those outside of the church. They find themselves in the flesh, and yet they live not after the flesh. Their existence is on earth, but their citizenship is in heaven. The hope is that such conduct will lead gentiles to glorify god on the day of visitation. We are in constant warfare, and christians will face constant accusations, false accusations. Christians should live lives of exemplary godliness, lives beyond slander.
