The Lost Star Gazes

The book is called the lost star gazes. The title's impart a reference to the way that technology is changing astronomy and the role that astronomers play in our own observations. I wanted to write a book that saved the stories of observing from a time when it was deeply hands on. We get into that point where we're building such impressive telescopes that can up so much data that the stumbling block, the bottle neck, is actually number of people around to process that data. And i think recognizing and using that human curiosity and passion is important - even as technology changes how we study the universe.
