Introduction
Professor David spigle holter is a statistician at cambridge university. His job is to improve the public understanding of risk, especially everyday risks we face. He's had to invent concepts like the micro life, or a 30 minute change in life expectancy. We gave him a call because we wanted to learn whether he thought a lifetime of work had actually made much difference to the world enjoy. Here at the cent for effect of altruism, we're interested in finding ways to compare what it means to do good and to figure out which ways of doing do the most good.
