The Different Careers You Can Get

There's a lot of writers out there. It's really interesting to me. So I'll see people, the writer will get mentioned on the internet. And like, oh, why read his first book? It was stupid. He wrote that first book 12 years ago and he's written 20 books since. There is no other career field where you judge somebody upon their rookie year unless they really flub it. Writers, you're the same way. People on the internet are dicks. They're going to judge you based upon the first thing you ever wrote for the rest of the year. That's fine. You're making a living.
