South Africans Love Marmite
South africa is at the centre of what can only really be described as mamma Getim. It's become essentially impossible to find marmite on shelves in supermarkets and grocery stores. One of the key ingredients it relies on is brewers yeast, which is a by product of beer fermentation. South africa somewhat uniquely banned alcohol sales during its deepest coverd lock downs. Unfortunately, when the beer dried up, so did the yeast.
