Why You Shouldn't Learn the Science

The jump from 20,000 genes to the 86 billion neurons to 300 trillion synapses is so complicated that there won't be a breakthrough drug. Drug companies have given up research in psychiatry because it's just that complicated. We only have a biological test for Alzheimer's; we got longer with schizophrenia. I think everyone should learn the science because it's humbling because it's tough questions.
