In one sense, it could be like a cause, likei the teacher's causing something. The other senseis the students learning something, right? Exactly, right? Yes. So this helps you get out of themodal collapse, because you're going to say, god's actions arethe same across all possible worlds, but the effects are going to be different. Now, how is it that god can be totally unchanged across all possible world, as divine simplicity requires, without potentiality, and yet produce effects contingently in so far as they are caused by god?
