How Much Is on an Ingredient List?
Most companies don't let on what the level of any ingredient is unless mandated by the FDA. Salicylic can be used anywhere from half a percent to 2%, but it must be listed on the label as an active ingredient. Same thing for sunscreens. Any sunscreen active has to be listed in the active ingredients section of a drug fat box. And then all the other ingredients are listed below it, like a cosmetic.
