Beach Erosion Processes

The beach is a land form that exists alongside a body of water. It consists of lots of loose particles, but it's not all sand. A many beaches comprised of rock or gravel, pebbles or bits of sand combined with particles of biological origin,. such as pieces of shells, o coral or algie. The exact composition depends on the beach and the environment. Beach sand is primarily formed through erosion of surrounding cliffs and headlands. That's concentrated in these regions over over thousands of years. Sand and other sediments can also be deposited at beaches by rivers, if there's a surrounding river. But al lot of it comes from the surrounding erosion of cliffs.
