The Prongs of the Liberal Project

As advocates of liberalism we need to do the mental work of identifying and understanding what are the institutions that lead to social peace and cooperation. The institutional piece is critical but also articulating a vision which James Buchanan called a vision for the liberal project. And then paired with that is what I call you know cultivating the liberal sensibility these are the liberal norms that we have to articulate so that we can be aware of when it's necessary to reclaim thoseliberal norms.
