To what extent was the taliban able to take on the role of a national liberation movement? Liberation in this instance is difficult word to use, but they there are very much elements of it. I mean, if you look at their gorilla operation, how they operated, it's classic gorilla warfare. So by default, if you like, the taleban turned out to be the national movement which turfed out the united states and nat from their country. And for this they'll be remembered.
