The Problem With Classical Liberalism
I regard myself as an opponent of all the different varieties of liberalism. I just have different reasons for being opposed to each and every single one of them. And I don't think that classical liberalism gets you. Even wokri can't tell a person what a good life is. But it's certainly, it's certainly very good at hijacking liberalism and using it against itself. The ethos that underpinned it began there. Now we have the Human Rights Act of 1999, which is essentially the same thing. This new layer on our society, I don't thinks there's ever going to be the public will to get rid of. It's definitely a problem.
