The Importance of Curiosity in Our Evolution
The model of consciousness is actually twofold. It's both personal and it is also a sea in which we swim, something that is construed as impersonal. Think of this impersonal sea as a vast expanse of unknown which is ripe with potential for exploration if you have what it takes to actually be an explorer. Human history tells us lots of tales about explorers that take to the sea and it has had a tremendous impact on our collective lives as humans. Our basic human curiosity is the one thing that unites us all in terms of our evolution of the sciences, philosophies, our societies and our structures.
