The Great Pacific Garbage Patch
Scientists estimate that the equivalent of one garbage truck full of plastic enters the ocean every minute of every day. If we don't do something about it, the amount of plastic entering the world's oceans could almost triple the water. And a lot of it will end up in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The pieces of plastic that make up the patch are teeny tiny.
