Is There a Difference Between Leadership and Technical People?
The book is about the evolution of staff type folks in large companies to some extent, maybe even outside of te i guess like one of the things that i've observed or thati thought about. It's this idea of someone who doesn't have direct reports, but who still sort of functions like a manager in a lot of different ways. And so i do think it's kind ofk a rare privilege for us in technology to actually split these two apart. But also the seemingly like need to do this. These companies that are changing very, very quickly in t e industries just like very, very, very new.
