The risks of dopamine agonists, I think in a lot of cases, will outweigh the potential benefits. These are not side effects that anybody is ever going to report to their doctor unless they're told about it ahead of time. The highest risk factor for somebody developing dopamine agonist withdrawal syndrome is that they have impulse control issues.
